Providence Fire Fighters IAFF Local 799 is the labor union that represents firefighters in the City of Providence, Rhode Island.

Our mission is to preserve and enhance the economic and social standing of our members in a manner commensurate with their heroic calling, and to safeguard the people of the city we serve by ensuring that the members of the Providence Fire Department, acting in accordance with the highest ethical and professional standards, are provided with the necessary equipment and training to protect the citizens and visitors to this great city.
